Muscle-Powered is holding an organized ride from Lee Vining to Benton Junction on Sunday May 16.
The carpool shuttle will leave the south end of Carson City at 6:30 a.m. enroute to Lee Vining. We will shuttle will cars to the end point at Benton Junction.
Riders will start the 46 mile ride at about 10 a.m. just south of Lee Vining, traveling along State Route 120 to Benton Junction.
We plan to eat at the Whoa Nellie Deli at Tioga Gas Mart Mobil station in Lee Vining afterward.
This will be an all day trip. The High Sierra Club has a website with elevations of the route if you are interested. It is supposed to be rolling hills, with a climb into Benton at the end, some rough pavement.
