the end of Route 6 at Moffat Open Space

Muscle Powered and partners will celebrate the new multi-use path under the new freeway on Saturday, June 5th. This path segment connects the existing Linear Parkway path from Roop St to Saliman Rd at Fremont Elementary School with the existing path from Butti Rd to Moffat Open Space.
We will gather at 10:00AM, have a ribbon cutting at 10:15AM, and then head out on the path on foot, bikes, skateboards, scooters, skates, and whatever other human-powered mode of transportation you have. There will be water at the start and the turn-around at Moffat Open Space. You can continue to the Mexican Ditch Trail or Riverview Park if you wish.

  • When: Saturday, June 5th at 10:00 AM
  • Where: Meet at Governor’s Field on Roop Street for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
  • Bonus: Muscle Powered members will be on hand at the start for a free bicycle safety inspection.

A flier and map are available.
